Hi!
wikidot.com is a really cool site, and it is going to open source ? Am I hearing right ?
That will be wonderful, but………….., where is it ?
I hope I can do something, not a pro in php programming, but I can do some translate, to Chinese language.

Cool, Chinese translation would be great. Zooomr (http://zooomr.com) has recently started with the Chinese version and they claim they are getting enormous traffic from Asia now ;-)
I hope this would make Wikidot even better!
The sources are not yet available, I assume it will be released (or at least SVN access) around March 2007. It is a great amount of work anyway ;-)

no, it will be later for sure. I would expect late summer. There are many things to deal with.

Hi,
the code that powers it is quite complicated so it is not very likely that you would be able to use it outside wikidot.
But I believe that someone already provides rating widgets that could be embedded in web pages. A good place to start looking for it is http://www.widgetbox.com/ and Google.
