Did you happen to find the solution for the Captcha not showing in IE or Firefox? I have the same problem… It only works on Chrome.

Yes, account creation is working great now. Thanks for the fix! Everything else seems to be working well, except for one odd issue:

The account creation Captcha is displaying correctly under Safari, but it is not displaying correctly under IE or Firefox.

PHP was compiled with gd, ttf, enable-gd-native-ttf, and freetype.

I'll check out Captcha.php, and try some other things. If you have any thoughts, any feedback is appreciated.

No problem, I just wanted to ask some generic questions like who are you working for, who's going to use the wiki, for what purpose, how did you learn about Wikidot, was installing Lighttpd (and not Apache) a trouble for you, etc. Information like this can help us better understand potential (business?) users of Wikidot software.

Could you confirm the account creation is working for you now? (You may need to install from scratch or at least "sudo -u postgres sh -c 'dropdb wikidot ; dropuser wikidot' "; sudo -u postgres make prepare_db ; make)

I created a bug for this. This is bug no 18 and I will fix it tomorrow, because adding things to initial dump is very easy now.

OK, this is a problem of wiki profiles not being properly set up. This is bug in wikidot installation code.

We're setting up a wiki farm under Solaris 10. It's tentatively up and working, but I'm running into an issue with the self-service account creation.

User is able to complete and submit the account form without any difficulty, and they receive the email with the verification code.

But when the user enters the verification code (or if they click on the verification link in the email), they get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getSiteId() on a non-object in
wikidot/php/actions/CreateAccount2Action.php on line 293

It's quite possible that I've missed something in the wiki farm configuration, or in the db setup.

Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction in terms of where to start looking.

If you need more specific info about our setup, let me know.
