Wikidot wiki needs a full namespace of HTTP URLs for its domain. I tried to change it some time ago, but I was way too hard. So basically, if you need more than one wiki you need more than one domain, which means usually a wildcard domain.

We're attempting to set up a wiki farm using wikidot. Quick question:

Instead of using wildcard DNS to support a subdomain for each wiki, is there any way to set up wikidot so that the wikis would be addressable as follows:

http://www.mydomain.com/wiki1
http://www.mydomain.com/wiki2
http://www.mydomain.com/wiki3
http://www.mydomain.com/wiki4

After reading through some of the posts, I'm guessing the answer is that we have to use subdomains for the wiki farm, but just wanted to verify. Thanks!
